Winter Track finishes strong

ImageEphrata's indoor track and field team competed in the PTFCA (PA Track and Field Coaches Association) Meet that was held on February 11, 2006 at Lehigh University.  This is a highly competitive meet featuring some of the top athletes from around the state.

Ephrata set several indoor school records. The 4 x 800 relay team of Sam Fink, Alicia Harbold, Dana Haas, and Kate Anderson finished with a time of 10:19.5  Also setting a school record in the 4 x 200 relay was Caiti Strausser, Kelly Martin, Karyn Noll, and Deb Morrison with a time of 1:56.14.  In addition, Willie Hopkins' long jump of 18' 9" was a school best.  

Placing third in the high jump was CJ Wilson with a jump of 5'11".

This has been a very successful indoor season.  Coach John Keller looks for the the performances to springboard the team into the outdoor track & field season.
