L-S decks Mounts

ImageThe wrestlers traveled to Lampeter last night for their showdown with the Pioneers. Unfortunately the Mounts learned a lesson on being mentally prepared. The Pioneers stormed out to a 30-0 lead before the Mounts knew what hit them, thanks to a few upset falls.

Jordan Becker, 189, stopped the bleeding by doing what he does best, pinning his opponent. Feeding off Becker’s quick fall, Zach Zimmerman made his return to the line-up and decided to make short work of his opponent by picking up a fall. Not to be outdone by little brother, James Zimmerman picked up a fall at heavyweight. Mike Evans picked up a forfeit at 112 before Jared Becker, 130, closed out the scoring by matching his brother with a fall.

The Mounts return home to wrestle the Blue Streaks of Manheim Township on Saturday the 23rd at 1:00pm.
